Garmin Nuvi 1490TV advanced, super-slim navigator

The new nüvi 1490TV has a super slim design and a screen diagonal of 12.7 inches up. The advanced navigation features detailed maps of 43 countries in Europe, navigation features for hiking, ecoRoute ™ fuel-saving function and text-to-speech. This also includes a DVB-T receiver for receiving digital television and radio.

Navigating and watch TV

The nüvi 1490TV uses a built-in DVB-T receiver for digital TV and radio stations for free to receive more than 14 European countries *. In the Netherlands you can use this device broadcasts public regional broadcasters and watch as the world turns or by the NOS news. The device has built-in stereo speakers and one 3.5 mm headphone connector. So you not only have a clear picture but good sound from your favorite television program.

Navigating out of the car
