Do you ship to Worldwide?
Yes we do. Because our scanners are full-band and we do not charge tax for customers out of the European Community, we have some of the best prices you can find on the web. We also have a good reputation. We've been in business since 1972, so you know you're dealing with professionals. On the internet we sell our products since 1996.
What's the best way to have my order shipped: via TNT priority post or DHL or FedEx?
DHL or FedEx is the most secure method of shipping because the package can be tracked. In addition, if an order is sent via DHL or FedEx and you're not completely satisfied with it, we offer a money back guarantee. CBShop does not, however, guarantee orders shipped via regular post because there is no way to track parcels from one country to another. Therefore, DHL or FeEx is the safest way to have your order shipped. With our Royal Dutch Mail (TNT) the parcel is at least 2 -7 workdays on it is way to you. Since 2001 we do not have any problems with shipping with TNT, so if you want the parcel shipped on a cheap way it is still a good alternative. See also our shipping page.
Do you test equipment before you ship?
Yes, we do. Even when you buy our cheapest CB in our store, we test it before we fill out the warranty form.
Is a 110 volt charger included with the scanner?
No, we sell EU legal scanners (otherwise the scanners would be blocked) In Europe we use 220/230 volt, in the USA 110 volt is used. So the charger we have will not work at all. A 110 volt is not supplied, so we cannot help you with this. But in all kind of shops in your neighborhood you can buy a 110 volt charger.
What is the best scanner for me?
That's a hard question. If you are looking for a portable scanner with many features, the AR 8200 version 3 may be a good choice for you. The Bearcat 3500 XLT is also among the top range products, as is the ICOM R20. If you want a great full-band scanner for a great price, the Bearcat is your best bet.
What is the best CB Radio?
If you want a mobile CB with lots of options, the amateur model President Jackson 2 is a good way to go. The President products all come with a five-year warranty. Other brands we recommend are Intek, TTI and Midland / Alan.
If I don't have a credit card, how can I order your products?
If you don't have a credit card, just e-mail us your order and then wire the money directly to our CB Shop bank account. Once we have the order and the funds, we will send your shipment immediately. As a reputable company with a history of excellence, you can rest assured that such a transaction with CBShop is a safe alternative to credit card purchases. With our online shop You have more options to order besides credit card. PAYPAL is also an option .
I want a schematic for my scanner or CB. Can you provide this?
Unfortunately, we are unable to provide schematics. If a brand does not provide a schema with its manual, that generally means that this is not public information. The schematics used by CB Shop are usually sold to us with the restriction that we are not allowed to provide them to others. Thus, your best course of action in obtaining a schema is to contact the manufacturer directly. (CB Shop can often provide manuals, but there is a charge for this service.)
What if the product I have purchased breaks during the warranty period?
Provided that the product has not been tampered with or misused in any way, CB Shop will repair or replace it at no additional charge. You are only responsible for the shipping cost of sending it to us. Once we have repaired or replaced the product, we will return it to you
