CB Shop gathers information about you from data that you provide through such things as optional or mandatory registration, online surveys, and contests. Electronic Newsletters
CB Shop offers various free electronic newsletters. Users may remove themselves from this mailing list by following the instructions provided in each electronic newsletter or emailing privacy@cbshop.com.
Contests
CB Shop may offer contests in which we request certain personal information. At a minimum, the required information will include name and email address. In some cases, the entrant must answer mandatory survey questions about a range of technical interests and personal data. The information gathered in the entry form is used to verify the entrant's identity and eligibility, to contact winners or prize recipients, and to market and sell our products. Because the rules and terms of each contest can vary, all information about each contest is clearly posted during the event.
Log Files
Like most standard Web site servers, we use log files to automatically log information such as internet protocol (IP) addresses, browser type, internet service provider (ISP), referring/exit pages, platform type, date/time stamp, and number of clicks. We log this information to analyze trends, administer the site, track user movement in the aggregate, and gather broad demographic information for aggregate use. For areas of our site that require registration, we log the user's email address and specific information concerning the user's activity on the site. This information may be tied to the user's other personal information and, if so, it is used to support the user's professional relationship with CB Shop and our products.
Cookies and Web Beacons
Cookies are used to enhance your experience on our sites by allowing us to tailor our content based on your interests. A cookie is a small data file that is saved on your hard drive when you visit certain Web sites. A cookie file can contain information, such as a user ID, which the site uses to personalize content and track the pages you've visited. The only personal information a cookie can contain is information you supply yourself. A cookie can't read data off your hard disk or read cookie files created by other sites.

We also collect anonymous information through the use of Web beacons. Web beacons are tiny invisible graphics placed on certain pages of CB Shop's Web site. When a visitor accesses one of these pages, an anonymous notice of that visit is generated. Processing this information helps us better manage content on our site by informing us what content is effective.
In addition, we use Web beacons in some of our HTML-based emails to let us know what percentage of emails are opened by the recipients. This allows us to gauge the effectiveness of certain communications and the effectiveness of our marketing campaigns.
Information Sharing
CB Shop will not disclose your personal information to any outside organization unless it is affiliated with CB Shop. Distributors, rental partners, affiliates, contractors, or other business partners of CB Shop who have access to your personal information use the information in connection with your customer relationship with CB Shop and our products. Contractors use the information to fulfill CB Shop requirements for such things as processing credit card purchases, shipping goods to customers, and providing information to potential customers.
Legal Requirements
CB Shop may be required to disclose personal information in response to a court order or other legal requirement.
Security
CB Shop operates secure data networks protected by industry standard firewall and password protection systems. Our security and privacy policies are periodically reviewed and enhanced as necessary and only authorized individuals have access to the information provided by you. Any particularly sensitive information, such as a customer's credit card number collected for a commerce transaction, is encrypted prior to transmission.
Children's Privacy Protection
CB Shop Web sites do not target and are not intended for children under the age of 13. CB Shop Web sites will not knowingly collect personal data from children, and will delete such data upon discovery.
Sale of Business
CB Shop may transfer personal information to a third party that acquires a business from CB Shop where the information is provided as an important asset of that acquired business.
